Award-winning musical ambassadors from Russia, "Moscow Nights" is an exciting, versatile group of world-recognized, prize-winning musicians. Having established themselves as one of the fastest rising musical groups in the United States, these classically trained artists first took Western Europe by storm and now are bringing their enthralling music to North America. Led by Vitaliy Bezrodnov, the group was initially formed under his direction in Kaluga, Russia in the late 1980’s. After Conservatory studies, they regrouped in 1996 in the United States. Initially touring the Western states and the Hawaiian Islands, the group met with great acclaim due to their considerable talents and natural exuberance. Their venues have been as varied as Performing Arts Centers to Concert series and cultural festival nationwide. They also initiated a charity program entitled Music in Mission and Rotary Childrens Fund which raises money for the orphans worldwide, promote cultural awareness and build bridges of understanding between US and the world.

In 1993 the company Golden Gates was created in St. Petersburg, Russia. Drawing upon students from the Cultural Arts Centers and Schools, these children became the first members of the group, and they began performing at various cultural events, folk festivals and concerts throughout Russia and Europe. In the late 1990’s, the company started coming on a regular basis to the United States to perform with Moscow Nights on nationwide tours.

In 2003 Golden Gates expanded to include dancers selected from folk ensembles, cultural arts centers, music schools and colleges, and dance academies from countries such as Ukraine, Byelorussia, and Georgia. Each  group performs with Moscow Nights and presents the culture, traditions, music, and dance of their country.
